Remake America Casting

Three years ago, before we really new what was going on with Christopher, we applied for SuperNanny.

Last week I received an email that they were recasting for the show using a new nanny.

Then, today, I received this email:

From the Producers of NBC's hit show The Biggest Loser:  We are looking for people from across the country struggling with current issues so many Americans are facing -- unemployment, uninsured, losing a house, military deployment, or feeling the squeeze financially, etc.  This show will help people solve these issues via a team of experts and community support systems.  If you or someone you know is intersted in learning more, please apply only here:  http://www.remakeamericacasting.com/.

Good luck!

What's Happenin'.....

I was so excited about the pictures, that I forgot to tell ya'll just how great my little man has done the last two days! He has been calm, playful, excited to see his new cousin, his Aunt Chelle and Pappow... I just can't get over how well he was. It was better than he has been even on medication! I don't know what caused it, but I am thankful for a pleasant weekend. Kaitlyn did good, but didn't want much to do with Hudson. Kayla was her charming self...she really knows how to work a crowd with her charm and beauty! Chris worked almost all day, so didn't get any more pics of him, but we did catch a few shots of him holding the baby on Saturday. I hope you'll scroll down and enjoy the pics of the family...

On another note, I have been so convicted with the amount of time I spend on the computer. I'm on it all the time with Kayla's homeschooling, so it makes it easy to pop over to facebook or check out all the blogging updates, but it really consumes my time. I've been getting up really early, so I am going to try my best to get my blogging, facebook and emails done in the early a.m., or after the kids go to bed in the evening. Ya'll, please pray for me about this!

Oh, and in case you are wondering, we are submitting the application to SuperNanny. (EEEK!) I will keep you posted.

OK.....

Christopher had another OK day today; lots of re-directions and he just won't stop talking... He's becoming outraged. He hits his older sister and Chris, it's weird...I mean viciously hitting. I don't understand, it's like I'm the only one that can calm him down.

We received a final email notice today from ABC Supernanny. If we decide to turn in the application, it has to be done by Monday. We received notification on October 26th last year that we could be part of the show; that was the same day we had to leave our home because of black mold. The thought of letting people in more than this is breathtaking. There are many times it's just miserable; do I, we, want the world, our church family, my husband's work (which is our church family) to see inside our lives? I am to a point of desperation. I don't know how to help my son, and if I have to show all my faults in order to help my son, to help all of us, then I say we go for it. We are all suffering in different way because of these outburst. We don't know how to discipline when he is like this. Kayla suffers because she never gets any "mom" time; Kaitlyn suffers...she sees what Christopher is doing and mimics so then she gets punished.... I stay stressed, Chris stays stress.... what do we do? I have no idea.

My headache is starting to come back, so I am turning in.

Following Through...

Hey ya'll, Christopher's teacher called Chris first thing this morning regarding the email he had sent her stressing our concerns. Please pray for Ms. Casey and the other students. Pray also for Anthony, the little boy that is causing so much problems. Ms. Casey has had a headache since Monday regarding her dealings with this young boy. He is abusive to everyone in the classroom. So, this morning, Christopher and I prayed for Anthony. I would appreciate it if you would pray for Anthony also. He is 5 years old; a year older than Christopher. Please also pray for Christopher. I've mentioned before Christopher was diagnosed with ADHD/OCD. Last week we had to increase his medications as it seemed like nothing was working. We aren't seeing a difference with the change either. He has become more emotional that ever, throwing himself down and screaming, tackling his sister (the younger one). We don't know if this is the wrong medication or if it's behavioral.

We were sent an application for the SuperNanny show; in fact, we got it the same day we were told to leave our home because of the black mold. I think it's time to follow through and get the help we need.

Thanks for listening, well, reading.

Later.
