Beauty Tip

OK, I know some of you are AVON Reps, and I know some of you aren't my customers, or even use AVON products at all, but I learned something new a few weeks back and like to share what I learn to help EVERYBODY! My husband says I put in an AVON commercial with every blog post, and I honestly don’t mean it to be that way, I am just so excited over what I am learning. I am going to try limiting my mentioning of AVON to a weekly post, probably on Friday’s, but we’ll see. My life doesn’t allow me to blog on a regular schedule. I hope you will take a minute to read the following tips.

Did you know there is a particular way you are supposed to cleanse/treat/moisturize your skin?

Did you know there is a different routine for evening and morning cleansing/treating/moisturizing your skin?

Well, if you answered no, print off this page and put it by your bathroom and make up mirrors!

A.M./DAY

~cleanser

~treatment

~moisturizer (use your pointer finger and middle finger, rubbing upward)

~eye cream (use your ring finger and blot, do not rub!)

**let your moisturizer and eye cream set for about 10 minutes before applying foundation**

**Use your cleanser and moisturizer on your face AND your neck!**

P.M./DAY

~cleanser

~eye cream (use your ring finger and blot, do not rub!)

~treatment

~moisturizer (use your pointer finger and middle finger, rubbing upward)

**Use your cleanser and moisturizer on your face AND your neck!**

ALSO, did you know that if your skin is flakey then your skin is actually oily, not dry?!

*If your skin is normal, use a lotion moisturizer

*If your skin is dryer, use a cream moisturizer

*If your skin is oily, AVON carries Clearskin which can be used on all oily skin

Regardless what products you use ladies, I encourage you to take care of your skin. I am learning so much with these AVON Training Courses/Classes that are FREE! If you are interested in bringing in an extra income, I would love to sign you up. There are even customer’s that sign up just to buy the products at a discount, that’s OK. I can assure you, you will have more people wanting to buy from you when they find out “you sell AVON!”

Broken Record...Sorry:)

Long day today; left at 7:45 to take Chris to work, then to do errands which included grocery shopping at Sam's and Wal-Mart, paid bills, lunch with a friend and chasing a 4 year old around. Christopher actually did really well today. We had an incident while at the Wal-Mart on Creighton Road. LaPage in the Produce Department was a life saver! I told her she earned jewels on her crown in Heaven.... I don't know if she knew what that meant, but she was a jewel today.

I don't want to sound like a broken record player, but I have to tell ya'll just how much I am enjoying selling AVON! AVON offers many, many online courses to train its representatives. I have learned so much! The reason I started selling AVON was not because I was such an avid user of AVON products; in fact, I rarely used any AVON products prior to selling it! But, I had been praying, "Lord, if it is your will that I stay home with my children, then you will show me how I can bring in some extra income." After weeks of praying, looking into AVON and Mary Kay, and Tupperware, I sensed the Lord pulling me towards AVON. The first day I signed up I started studying, asking questions and buying samples. I needed to find what products I wanted to use and liked. I am still trying many items and buying lots of samples, not only for me to try, but to give a way to try building my clientele. One thing I love about selling AVON is my website! I can have customer's from across the world with the click of a button! Isn't that cool? We have free shipping sales ALL THE TIME, so anybody that isn't local can buy products from my online store and get the same benefit of a local rep and at no extra cost! My person web site is www.youravon.com/spaden. If you are reading this, and you have never tried any AVON products, please give it a try! AVON offers a 100% money back guarantee. IF, for any reason, you are not happy with any of our products, you are reimbursed, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

Also, AVON's start up cost is very little! For $10 you get a start up kit including campaign magazines, samples, all kind of information... it's great! My website cost is $7.50 every campaign (bi-weekly); BUT with just one online order, I am reimbursed that cost. So far, I have had that fee reimbursed every campaign. If you are interested in earning a little extra money, I would love to share you more information about my AVON experience. You can email me at thepadens@cox.net.

I just got off the phone with my sister-in-law. She and her family are coming down a week early. My kids will be thrilled. Sheri's kids will be staying over here at night as space is very limited at Lucie's. Lucie came through the surgery well. Hopefully the surgery will stop the tremors in her hand/arm and the numbness in her feet/toes.

OK, thinking of feeding everybody Saturday is starting to stress me out and I have a house to clean for kids to be here every night. I feel my stress level rising.

More Later.

Redirecting My Course

I've been praying about my book a lot lately. I am being bombarded by friends and family about when I will have it finished and if I am even working on it. I have sensed the Lord taking my book in a new direction. I am not at liberty to share my life as a child, which is why I went the route of a devotional book; however, daily, several times a day, I have sensed the Lord telling me to share my life story. So, I am working on my book, telling my story as a young adult, making stupid decisions involving drugs, alcohol, affairs, ..... and what brought me to the point of coming to know the Lord, and some of the journey's He has taken me on since giving my life to Him on October 19, 1998. I again, ask your prayers for this. I struggle with thinking about the millions of people who have given their life to the Lord, so why would someone want to read about my struggles and life.... what's so different about my life.... anyway, that's what I'm struggling with. I just want to share the hope that there is in Christ. That's the goal I believe that has been set before me.

Proverbs 16:9 tells me a man's heart plans his way, BUT the Lord directs his steps. I want my plans to be in sync with the Lord's plans and I want His desires for my life to be my desires.

Taking the kids to the Summer Movies at the Rave this morning. Thankful the Rave offers these FREE movies every week! Give the kids a nice outing, and again, IT'S FREE! Woohoo!

I am so enjoying selling AVON. I am learning more and more every day. I even find myself watching other advertisements about other products to compare, research and question. This is so not me. I have never cared about what moisturizer works with what skin.... or what color goes with what skin type. I am having a blast with it. You can sign into my AVON site and do a free beauty profile.

Also, I am lining up some GREAT give-a-ways for a WEEK of GIVE-A-WAYS in July to celebrate "Christmas In July!" My Pastor, Ted Traylor is donating a couple of his CD sets, I've contacted several others music CD's, some Mary Kay products, and, of course, AVON products! I'll give you the dates once I have everything lined up. I hope you will keep checking back with me. I have had several people contact me saying they couldn't leave comments on my blog because of the "security code" problems. IF you have problems leaving comments on my blog, please email me at thepadens@cox.net so I can address this problem BEFORE the give-a-way!

Gotta get ready for our FREE MOVIE at the RAVE! Woohoo!

Chris' Surgery

Chris is having sinus surgery Thursday. We would appreciate your prayers. Twenty years ago he "deviated" his septum by running into a fence playing softball. They also plan on reconstructing that as well.

Kids are going crazy already this morning, so I'm off. We have AVON books to go hang on doors today. We are also going to go see Kung Fu Panda at the Rave. They have a free summer series that blesses us every summer.

Walking in Him today.

Saturday At The Paden's....

Kayla spent the night at a friends last night; she'll be home soon. The other two kids and I have been out in the garden this morning. Chris planted some seeds about 7 days ago so I covered them with plastic to try hurry up the germination process. Watered the other garden area where the potatoes and cucumbers are. Christopher helped me plant seeds the other night (over 142 of them) in one of those seed starter things. I needed to get my seeds started, but still have so much to do to get the dirt ready for planting.... gardening is so therapeutic for me. Some of the best Bible studies for me have come from the visuals the Lord gives me in gardening....hence the name of the book I've been working on...."Pullin' Weeds." Well, I haven't been working on it lately, but do plan on getting back in to it. I hope my younger two pick up on the importance of gardening, as my 16 year old hates it. Of course, if I had started with her as early as I have with them, things might be different.

Chris went to Sam's for me as he has the Sam's card and I don't since I am not working at Pine Summit anymore.

The kids were ready to come in, so once Chris gets back home I'll had back out. I think he is going to umpire a couple ball games today. Some leagues are hosting a fundraiser tournament for something...can't remember...but he wanted to donate his time for that. Other than that, I don't have to go anywhere today! My house is a wreck as I haven't done anything since getting home from Panama City last week. I am thankful the tickets to the E-Women's Conference sold or I'd be there and not home. While I'm sure many will be blessed by it, for me, this particular weekend would have been just one more thing for me to have to do and put off one more thing at home that "has to be done."

Have pics of the kids to post later from the mud event in the driveway. I think I'm gonna try finding a truckload of pine straw to eliminate all the mud in my driveway.

I'll also have my AVON sight up and running this evening.

Gotta run.
